Lauer to Former Intern: I Always Tried to be Nice to you

Matt Lauer is getting smacked from everywhere and it appears that he is reading it all.
Each day this week a new story has come out about the Debacle at Today and each day it seems someone is taking a shot the once Golden Boy, Matt Lauer.
There was an interesting exchange on Twitter that started with a Producer at Fox 8 in Cleveland relaying a story that Anchor Mark Zinni told about his days as an Intern on the Today Show:
So it seems that Zinni was saying that in his Today Show Intern days, Lauer wasn't that nice to him.
But guess who read the tweet?
Yep!
Matt Lauer! And he responded:
We're betting old Mark didn't see that one coming.
